This section allows Training managers to complement the organisational and team planning process for training and development with specific plans to meet identified training needs across the institution.
The school can then make a coherent response to the training needs of all personnel, functions and grades. Key staff development managers will have the benefit of an analysis of all training needs identified through performance management and those unidentified needs revealed through the detailed analysis of a variety of structured observations.
Outcomes
- Common training needs can be quickly identified across the school
- Training to meet identified needs can be easily and efficiently planned
- Needs can be met in a coherent and structured fashion
- The evaluation and impact of training can be measured
