The software
substantially lightens the load of senior managers with responsibility for
Planning, Self-Review/Self-Assessment, CPD and Performance Management/Appraisal.
the system allows you to customise it to reflect your existing policy and
proformas, but gives you instant access to analytical information across your
organisation or broken down against headings or groupings which you choose. A unique security system allows you customise the
system to
delegate responsibility but maintain confidentiality.
Team Leaders
Ascon Developer
Systems encourage clear delegation to team leaders. The security system can be customised
to reflect the structure of your organisation and certain additional screen
authorities can also be allocated in any combination to selected managers with
specific responsibilities of Staff Development, Induction, NQT Monitoring,
Planning & Self-Review/Self-Assessment and administration of the system. All managers can view, add, edit and delete records for
the staff they manage.
Teachers / Lecturers
The systems
support a climate where staff can feel responsible for their own development.
All staff can easily access and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of all their
Continuing Professional Development activities and can contribute ideas and
evaluate development across the organisation. Staff can print their full portfolio
at the click of a button. All staff also have a Personal Log, where they can
record all professional development issues, eg mentoring other staff, visits,
etc. The security system and password log-in ensure complete confidentiality of
personal data.
Support Staff and Governors
You can use the
systems to record and track the training and development of all staff, including
support staff and governors. The facilities and benefits available to
teachers in the School Developer and College Developer are also available to Support Staff and
Governors.
